Problem solving and reasoning – Logic Problems. Multiplication and division strategies – Guided Maths Communication, Language and Literacy/ MFL Literacy Write a non-chronological report on the features of being a wizard. Create an extended piece of narrative based on the first Harry Potter book. Engage in meaningful discussions in all areas of the curriculum. Listen to and learn a wide range of subject specific vocabulary. Speak to small and larger audiences at frequent intervals. Physical Development Outdoor – Invasion Games – Quidditch/Handball Personal, Social and Economic Development PSHE ‘Healthy Me’ Jigsaw programme. I know what makes a healthy lifestyle. RE Hinduism. I can study a second religion in depth. MFL I can speak, read and write in French. I can learn new words and understand their translation. Literacy I can write stories inspired by reading and books. Write stories set in places pupils have been. I can write with relevant details and sequence my writing chronologically. I can use speech punctuation accurately in my writing. I can use interesting language to sustain and develop ideas. I can use generalisers for style and can link ideas sensibly. I can vary the way I open my sentences and am beginning to use subordination. RE To understand the key aspects of the Hindu religion. To recognise there are a number of Gods.
