Given the 21 construction trades, the best use of college resources would be to offer training in those with the most jobs: carpenters, electricians, painters, dry wall & ceiling tile installers, and plumbers/pipelayers. These represent over 70,000 jobs (55%) of the sector’s skilled jobs in 2011.
