With D-Link Management Tools AP Manger II, and Dview module, administrator can centrally manage D-Link business APs.

Support WPA/WPA2 Enterprise and WLAN Partition increase the wireless security for SMB.

Up to 300Mbps throughput for different application and high performance demand. Ex: VOIP 、 Multimedia 、 Streaming.

3COM AirConnect 9150’s selling price would be the same as DAP-2553 once DAP-2553 release

Truth: AirConnect 9150 have price advantage in SMB 11n business AP. Once DAP-2553 to go on sale. 3COM may adjust their strategy to beat with DAP-2553. Counterplot: DAP-2553 support 2.4GHz/5Ghz selectable dual band and much management function. The customer would have more feature for different requirement when they spend the same money, so it is easy to specify out this product.

NETGEAR WNDAP330 has similar feature with DAP-2553

Truth: WNDAP330 also have selectable dual band 、 M-SSID 、 PoE 、 multiple operation mode. Counterplot: DAP-2553 support free centralize management tool “AP Management II” with this tool administrator can easily management their D-Link business APs in their network environment. This tool would be a selling point to beat with WNDAP330.

Cisco 1250 series has more features than DAP-2553

Truth: 1250 series support concurrent dual band, throughput can up to 600Mbps (2.4GHz+5GHz) and it can be standalone or unified AP. Counterplot: DAP-2553 has most of features and very good price advantage to compete with 1250 series. Unless the user need to run very high level function or no need to buy such expensive device.
