Auguste Rodin: The Centenary InstallationJanuary 28, 2017–December 31, 2017
Marking the centenary of Auguste Rodin’s death in 1917, this exhibition, featuring about 50 objects from the Fine Arts Museums’ permanent collection, presents a significant opportunity to examine the legacy of the artist who has been called the father of modern sculpture.
The Future of the Past: Mummies and Medicine Through August 26, 2018
Ancient Egypt meets modern medicine in this exhibition that makes use of state-of-the-art scientific techniques to explore two of the Fine Arts Museums’ mummies. Hauntingly beautiful amulets and tomb furnishings are also displayed.

Gallery Guidelines• Please do not touch artwork, pedestals, or cases and maintain a
distance of 18 inches. from the surface of artwork. All parcels and bags are subject to inspection.
• Bags larger than 8 x 8 x 5 inches must be carried by hand at waist level. • Standard-size strollers are allowed. Some exhibitions may restrict
stroller access.• Please check oversize items, including large umbrellas, scooters, and
skateboards. • Photography and short video are allowed for noncommercial use. No
flash photography, monopods, or tripods.• Please enjoy food and beverages only in the Museum Café. Outside
food is not permitted.• Please silence all electronic devices.• Changing stations are available in all restrooms. • City ordinance prohibits smoking in Lincoln Park. • Shirt and shoes required (no cleats or wheeled shoes).
Accessibility• Only service and support animals are welcome in the building.• To borrow wheelchairs or exhibition labels in large-print, or to learn

Working in France during the 17th century, the three brothers produced some of the most enigmatic and arresting paintings of their time, including the tender images of everyday life for which they are best known. Special Exhibition Ticket Required.

Historically, artists have used the familiar elements of the book form—paper, printing, binding—as opportunities for expression and reinvention, sometimes challenging our notion of what a book can be. Explore key moments in the evolution of the artist’s book from the late 1700s to today.
Monet: The Early Years February 25, 2017–May 29, 2017
This will be the first major United States exhibition devoted to the initial phase of Claude Monet’s career, demonstrating the radical invention that marked the artist’s development between 1858 and 1872. Special Exhibition Ticket Required.
