1. Type https://schoology.dodea.edu/ into the Google Chrome Browser.

2. Log into Schoology using your DoDEA student Google email address.

3. Log into Schoology using your DoDEA student Google email address. a. My Password is ________________________

4. This is the new home screen. You will see course updates and reminders here. Note the

group of four blocks in the upper right hand corner.

5. The icon with four blocks will open the App shortcuts. Click it. Then select the Pearson App.

6. The Pearson “Easy Bridge” should open in a new screen. It should look like the screen below.

7. On the “Easy Bridge” screen, click on the Pearson Realize Icon.

8. Once the Pearson Realize screen opens. Click on the “American History Middle Grades” icon.

9. This will open the Table of Contents. Look for and click the words “eText” to open your

textbook.

10. An additional “eText” icon should open below. This time click the image from the cover.

11. After this screen opens. Click on the image from the cover again.

12. You are now looking at the “eText” or electronic version of your Pearson America History

Textbook. Take a moment to explore the features such as the highlighter and notebook by

clicking menu in the upper right hand corner.

13. There is also an e-reader. Click on the speaker to have the text read to you.
