We launched several other campaigns in order to fulfill our commitment towards creating a GreenerIndia. Not to forget the struggle of the metropolitan cities to breathe, we organized several City BasedPlantation Programs for cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, New Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad,Jaipur, Kolkata, Salem, etc. 40,000+ trees were planted across Tier I and Tier II cities to purify the air.

More than 15,000 women farmer-beneficiaries were added to our Rural Livelihood Support Plantation

program along with the addition of 25,000+ men farmer-beneficiaries. Around 75,000 saplings ofmore than 35 fruit-bearing species were planted on the lands of these farmers to help them secure

their livelihoods with the additional sources of income.

It gave us a great sense of assurance when we saw our plantation programs coming to life with treesgetting planted within seconds with just a click. The way ahead will be filled with many more

challenges, but, I am sure we will lessen the climate breakdown and turn the impossible into possible.Join us and be a part of this Tree Revolution for India.

The last year was full of challenges for SankalpTaru, which we turned into opportunities with ourdedication and smart work. Around 2,25,000 trees were planted in the financial year 2019-2020. Our

mission of planting and nurturing 1 million trees came true with the advent of the year 2020. The yearbegan with the plantation of lakhs of fruit-bearing trees on the lands of our identified farmer-

beneficiaries from all over the country, ranging from Ladakh in North to Tamil Nadu in South andRajasthan in West to Meghalaya in East. Several green projects were launched in this term to expandour operations across India with the immense dedication and hard work of our ground coordinators.

Our commitment to creating green patches in India’s hottest desert, Thar, and India’s coldest desert,Ladakh witnessed an increase in the number of plantations with more than 57,000 trees planted andnurtured. The Clean & Green School Programs also reached new heights with most of the renowned

corporations planting native tree species with us and providing much more green spaces for thestudents to enjoy, learn, and play. More than 22,000 students engaged in the plantation activities

carried out in more than 75 schools and colleges across the country.
