• Please put your name on the DFA.• Each Tab is Dated and Labeled by section.• Please note that ELA comes 1st in the

book, so there is a Day 1st tab close to the front.– Day 1 Directions

Make sure students’ test books also have their first-last name.

Materials… Do not Disturb & No Electronics signs Math & Science- scratch paper will be graph

paper. Used scratch paper is secure and must be

returned daily.Please remove scratch paper from all

books and return in a separate pile.8th Grade only: Science reference sheet-

after 2nd day, return in a separate pile. Two No. 2 pencils with erasers (plus extras).

Please sharpen after 1st day.

Material check-out

7:00-7:40- Material check-out from the Computer Lab Check-out: count tests, & sign

for testing materials - you are verifying you have the correct # of testing materials.

You will be responsible for that specific number of tests until they are turned in.

Testing Starts at Exactly 8:15

No tests can be passed out before 8:15.At 8:10, pass out pencils, rulers, & scratch paper 1st.

NOTE: Please check your roster everyday to make sure the right students are in your classroom. For those of you have students moving to another classroom for 1 or more parts of the CMA, the students should be marked on your roll.

Before returning your test… Collect all tests from students who are

finished and put them back into the testing box.

Absences: Write any students who are absent on the absence sheet, so we can keep track of make-ups.

Overflow: Write the names of all students going to the cafeteria for more time.

Students must finish bubbling all questions in that section. They cannot go back later to the test.

Overflow for CST and CMA in the Cafeteria

Escort students. Students cannot carry testing

materials to the cafeteria.

Please call the office if most of your students

are still testing and there are only 15min. left of the testing period.

Check-in Tests Recess

All tests must be returned to the Computer Lab. Do not forget …

The DFA The “Do not disturb sign” posted on

your door & “ No Electronics” sign in your classroom.

Scratch paper from math tests You will be counted in and checked

off before leaving.

Please note: Keep your pencils Pencils will be pre-sharpened for the 1st

day. Please sharpen your pencils after the 1st

day.

Testing Reminders….

Room Prep.- make sure to take down all posters that correspond to the Test.

Students needing to go to the bathroom testing must have an escort.

No Students can walk outside classroom with tests in their hand.

Use “say boxes” to give instructions Walk the room while students are testing Make sure students bubble as they go

along. If you see they skipped a bubble, make sure to

let them know. If students finish early, encourage them to go

back and check their work— do not have fun activities for them to do when they are finished.
