Part 2: Reading Comprehension

Transportation

I wanted to go to my uncle’s house which is in Shan

State. I took the bus from Yangon to Shan State at 8am

in the morning. It was full of passengers. It moved on,

stopping here and there to take passengers. The sights

outside were interesting. It passed several villages on the way. Finally, I reached

my uncle’s village.

During the last summer holidays, I went to Mandalay with my parents. We went

to the railway station by taxi. We bought the tickets

and waited on the platform for the train. It arrived on

time and left Yangon around 7am. We were lucky to

get good seats. We had lunch on the train and reached

Mandalay at 5pm. The trip by train was amazing.
