The “Sabenavita“ training centeris the fi rst type of rati ng training organizati on not only in

Lithuania, but in the Balti c States as well. It has highly

qualifi ed specialists who have a large amount of experience

in training pilots and cabin att endants.

“Sabenavita“ is recognized byCAA of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, India and European Union countries.

Training Center was established in 2004.

It is situated near Vilnius Internati onal Airport.

Theoretical trainingsare organized in the main office classrooms, which are

provided with modern computers and visual aids. In

each of the classrooms about 18 students can perform

studies at one time. All trainings can be provided in

Lithuanian, English and Russian languages.

Practical simulator trainings in simulators are organized in:

PTC-1, Paluknys, Lithuania;

Alteon, London, Great Britain;

FSC, Amsterdam, Netherlands;

CAE, Brussels, Belgium;

ATR training centre, Toulouse, France;

Finnair training centre, Finland;

Oxford aviation training centre,

London and Stockholm.

Base training is provided inLithuania at the Vilnius International, Kaunas

and Palanga airports using Boeing 737-500,

Boeing 757-200, ATR-42/72 aircrafts.

The following trainings are provided:

I. Type Rating Training Courses

Courses combine computer-based and instructor-led training and course content can be varied to exceed EASA / JAA minimum requirements, accommodating specific airline or candidate needs.

Courses vary according to aircraft type but include a two phase ground- school, covering aircraft systems and operational procedures, and a simulator phase which uses third party facilities around the world. A course of 4-6 weeks delivers top quality pilots, trained to the highest standards, in line with individual airlines Standard Operating Procedures.

BALTIC FLIGHT ACADEMY – flight training up to frozen ATPL.

Courses for the students are prepared following the approval of CAA.

Students are both from countries within the European Union

and from Russia, Belorussia, Georgia and India.

Alsim ATR - 42 FNPTIIStudents have a possibility to put their theoretical

knowledge to use on the new Alsim ATR - 42 FNPTII

type Simulator.

The center has briefing rooms, where theoretical sessions and flight

briefings are performed. Also 15 rest

rooms for the students are ready.

The pilot training centre is a modern, newly build center, fitted for pilot training.

35 Type rating instructors and cabin crew instructors teach pilots and cabin crew.

All instructors have vast experience in flying Boeing 737-200, Boeing 737-300-900, B-757/767,

Airbus 320, SAAB-340, SAAB-2000, ATR-42/72 aircrafts.

Have taught hundreds of pilots to fly safely, who are now working for international air companies, for

example: Lufthansa, IBERIA, Air Baltic, Aeroflot, UTAIR, Belavia,

KD avia, etc. Each of the instructors studied and practiced in

Germany, the UK, the USA.

The main characteristics:

There are 6 places in the cabin•

70 airports are installed into the Simulator. However there is a •

possibility to programme any airport of the world area on the

client need.

It is possible to programme customer company’s aircraft •

configurations, different types of engines.

It is possible to teach all emergency situations, which are •

required in the initial and recurrent pilot training. For example,

smoke and fumes removals, stall recovery (ground contact a

factor), air traffic collision avoidance.

Practical trainings of the pilots are made in a D level Boeing 737-500 Simulator.

In the close future, Simulator Boeing 737 NG should be presented.
