Section 10 Investments – User Entry Sequence

On click of this button employee will get their

PAN number and previously entered tax

detail.

After select the default city and default month value if employee click this button each month HRA

will fill with the default values.

Here employee can enter default

After entered the HRA details employee has to click

this button it will save the HRA details in draft mode.

• Purpose To declare investments under section 80 and avail tax

exemption

• Key Functionality Consists of two sections :

“Deductions under chapter VI-A” allows user to enter declarations pertaining to 80D (mediclaim), 80E (education loan) and 80U (disability) etc.

“Section 80C” allows user to declare investments against multiple items in the grid. Example: NSC, PPF etc.

‘Draft’ status and can modify (add new bills to) it. Users can submit claims till the ‘Payroll Input cut-off Date’ of

every month The submitted claim can be printed and enclosed with bills

and sent to operations team for checking and processing
