3. Product Description

Basic UseThe swinging glass and wood doors with Aluminum-Framed Entrances and Storefronts provides the transparency of glass yet the acoustic rating of a solid wall and with the Lunar™ Smart Glass or integral operable blind option, privacy. With an STC door rating of up to 36, the system is ideal for interior offices, conference rooms and meeting rooms.The aluminum frame may be of standard or custom RAL color. The doors will fit into straight or curved configurations. Wood, aluminum and glass doors (single-glazed and double-glazed) are all ADA compliant and fully customizable.

Pivot Frameless Swing Doors: Free-swing and self-closing options. No height limit. Two-way pivoting doors can fit almost every system. A pair of pivot doors are an option for wider entries. Locking and non-locking hardware is available.

Hinged Framed Swing Doors: Free-swing and self-closing options. The height of the door is limited to the height of the partition and by weight. Hinged Glass Swing Doors fits into Solare Single and Double Glazed Frameless Partition, Elevate Stacking Double Glazed High Wall System, Movare Movable Double Glazed System and Transverso Monoblock Modular Partition System. A pair of doors are an option for wider entries.

Acoustic Double Glazed Glass Swing Door: Free-swing and self-closing options. The height of the door is limited to the height of the partition. Hinged Glass Swing Doors fits into Solare Double Glazed Partition, Elevare Stacking Double Glazed High Wall System, Movare Movable Partitions Double Glazed System and Transverso Monoblock Modular Partition System. A pair of doors are an option for wider entries.

Wood Doors: Free-swing and self-closing options: 106 inches maximum height, 1⁷⁄₈ inch thick. EGGER color chart offers color selections. A pair of pivot doors are an option for wider entries. Locking and non-locking hardware is available.

Glazing: Tempered, laminated and low-iron glazing available in ³⁄₈, ¹⁄₂, ⁹⁄₁₆ and ³⁄₄ inch depths. Air space between glass panels: 1¹⁄₈ inch. Clear, patterned or custom graphic glazing is available.The doors are fully demountable. The components contain recycled material and are infinitely recyclable. The doors meet LEED® Characteristics. LEED 2009 (v3): MRc3, MRc4, MRc5, MRc7, EQc4.2, EQc8.1 and EQc8.2. LEED v4: MRc1, MRc3, MRc4, MRc8, EQc2, EQc7 and EQc8.

Composition and MaterialsPerimeter framing: 6063-T5 aluminum, which complies with ASTM B221. 304 stainless steel cladding, complying with ASTM A666, is also available. Glazing complies with ASTM C1048, Kind FT (fully tempered), Condition A (uncoated surfaces), Type I (transparent), tested for surface and edge compression per ASTM C1048 and for impact strength per 16 CFR 1201 for Category II materials.

Door hardware: stainless steel bases with US32D brushed and stainless steel finishes. Custom finishes available.
