HISTORY

The company began its journey in 1984, with the opening of a modest cabinetmakingThe yearsworkshop, where made-to-measure furniture and high quality took place.

that followed were marked by some of the following milestones:

1990 We manufactured displays for Tiffany Jewelry1992 We started to work for our client INDITEX1994 We created our construction company.1995 We opened a new woodworking factory with 8.000 m22000 We started with metal work activity.2005 Our installations expanded to a total of 50 countries.2006 We began activity in the Acrylic Industry.2007 We opened a workshop for wood and metal with 30.000 m2.2008 We opened a new workshop with 1.800 m2 for New Materials department.2010 Candido Hermida was awarded "Carpenter of the year” by the sector itself.2011 Candido Hermida was voted " Best new suplier" by the client Sunseeker2012 We completed 332 projects in 190 different cities.2013 We carried out 19 turnkey projects in France alone (construction + shopfitting)

We executed furniture and exterior woodwork the world´s largest Zara store inMadrid 5.000 square meters.

WOOD INDUSTRY

The “Wood and Derivatives' facilitymanufactures furniture, façades,paneling and classical and culturalcustomer designed pieces using thevery latest in technology and tooling.Production and processing is maintainedwith a team of over 70 techniciansand 200 operators over two workshops.

METAL INDUSTRY

The 'Metal' facility has the ability tomanufacture any type of sheet and tubemetal requirements denoted by thecustomers. With multiple laser cutters,tube benders and paint applicators, wecan supply this commodity in a vast arrayof furniture, fixtures and fixings acrossmultiple finishes. Production andprocessing is maintained with a team of10 technicians and 80 operators and distributed from two dedicated production

The ' ' facility includes the production of all typesnew materialsof projects in solid surface alongside the design andmanufacture of signs, prints, sculptures, three dimensionallettering, displays and decorative elements.Production and processing is maintained with ateam of 6 technicians and 30 operators.

ASSEMBLY

Cándido Hermida delivers a one stop solution from concept through to the completion of the projectand customer satisfaction. Cándido Hermida deploys a dedicated project manager with a full supportteam in place for all attributed professions relating to the projects need, ranging from technicians andassemblers through to transport and logistics personnel, all dedicated to delivering to the demands of thecustomer. This ensures a one stop solution is catered for by Cándido Hermida.
