Outline An introduction to Sociology. You will explore our society and find out answers to questions like “why do men get arrested more than women?”, “Why are children from rich families more likely to get a good job?”

Pre-requisite Level 4a in English or above

Progression Sociology Learning Challenge 2 - What makes me amazing? Stage 1.

Assessment To complete 1 full GCSE in Sociology you must pass the following Learning Challenges:

1) Am I normal? (Stage 1)2) What makes me amazing? (Stage 1)3) I want to know everything (Stage 2)4) Who makes the rules? (Stage 3- Graduation)

Fast Lane students (English Level 5a and above) can fast track to Learning Challenge 3 and do not need to complete 1 and 2.
