1. Inducible Pluripotent stem cells (iPSC). Programming methods, culturing,
proliferation and differentiation to endothelial cells.
2. Mechanisms involved in wound healing in diabetes.
3. Molecular basis of diabetes complications (oxygen species, hypoxia inducible
factor's, protein kinase C pathway, p53, STAT-3, the mitogen-activated protein
kinase family, and the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase).
4. Regulation of intra-renal hemodynamic in diabetes: role of endothelin,
endothelin converting enzyme and nitric oxide systems in the diabetes-associated
vascular dysfunction.
5. Pathophysiology and prevention of radio-contrast nephropathy.
