All our templates are cut by a Laser to an accuracy of 1200th of an inch. We also use the laser to etch in information regarding coding and grain lines which can be seen under all light conditions. This etching will not wear off.
New templates for this season include templates from Meredithe Clark.
Our templates can be used for hand or machine piecing. Many of the templates include registration marks, making it very easy to align pieces when stitching. Where pieces are set in, use these registration marks, particularly when machine piecing, to get perfect set-in pieces.
On all templates with curves, we’ve matched the registration holes on the convex and concave curves so that piecing is a breeze.
All templates are tested by experienced teachers and patch-workers, and all instructions are checked by professional quilters.

Mini Hexagon Set Mini Hexagon Set This 10 piece Mini Hexagon Set is a little different from our usual templates; these pieces have the centres cut out to make tracing such small pieces easier. There is a ¾” hexagon, with matching triangle and diamond (1083c); a ½” hexagon, with matching triangle and diamond (1083b); a ⅜” hexagon, with matching triangle and diamond (1083a); and a single ¼” hexagon (1083), (the triangle and diamond were too small). Place the template onto the fabric and trace around both the outside and inside of the pieces; the outside is the cutting line, the inside the stitching line. The see-through section allows for clear “fussy cutting” of prints. PLEASE NOTE: you may need to trim back the seam allowance before stitching. Use these templates to make Grandmother’s Flower Garden blocks, Hexagon Stars, and variations on these themes. The triangle and diamond can be used to join blocks together.
