Applications are invited for the 5 post of Executive Engineer (Electrical) in Pay Band-3 Rs.15,600-

39,lOO+Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/-) and 8 posts of Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) in Pay Band-3

Rs.15,600-39,100+Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/-) in the ESI Corporation on deputation basis.

The officers possessing the required qualifications and experience, as given below, can apply for

these posts:-

Note ~'The maximum age limit for appointment. by deputation (ISTC) for above posts shall be notexceeding 56 years' r as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.Note '8'. For the purpose of appointment on deputation basis, the service rendered on a regular basis byan officer prior to 01.01.06 (the date from which the revised pay structure based on the 6th Central PayCommission recommendation has been extended) shall be deemed to be service rendered in thecorresponding grade payor pay scale extended based on the recommendations of the pay commissionexcept where there has been merger of more than one pre-revised scale of pay into one grade with acommon grade payor pay scale, and where this benefit will extend only for the post(s) for which that grade

1. Executive Engineer (Electrical)Eligibility conditions: -

Officers under the Central or State Govt. or Union Territories or Autonomous Bodies or Statutory Bodies orPublic Sector Undertakings or Universities or Research Institutions:(A) (1) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(11) with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis inposts in Pay Band-3 (Rs.15,600-39,lOO) Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- or equivalent; or

(III) with seven years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis inposts in the Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9,300-34,800) Grade Pay Rs. 4,600/- or equivalent; AND

(b) Possessing B.E. or B.Tech. degree in electrical engineering from a recognized University orequivalent .

Note 1. The departmental officers in the feeder grade who are in direct line of promotion will not beeligible for consideration for appointment on deputation (ISTC). Similarly, deputationist shall not beeligible for consideration for appointment by promotion."Period of deputation (ISTC) including period of deputation (ISTC) in another ex-cadre post heldimmediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation/ department of the CentralGovt. shall ordinarily not to exceed four years'.2. Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical)

Eligibility conditions: -Officers under the Central or State Govt. or Union Territories or Autonomous Bodies or Statutory Bodies orPublic Sector Undertakings or Universities or Research Institutions:(A) (1) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ll) with two years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis inposts in Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9,300-34,800) with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800/- or equivalent; !1£

(Ill) with three years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis inposts in the Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9,300-34,800) with Grade Pay Rs. 4,600/- or equivalent; AND

(b) Possessing B.E. or B.Tech. degree in electrical engineering from a recognized University orequivalent . And

(ll) three years experience in planning, construction and execution in electrical Engineering projects.Note 1. Period of deputation (ISTC) including period of deputation (ISTC) in another ex-cadre post heldimmediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation/ department of the CentralGovt. shall ordinarily not to exceed three years'.

E-III(B)/75 dated 07.11.75 read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Personnel &

Administrative Reforms O.M. No. 2/29/91-Estt.(Pay-I1) dated 05.01.94 as amended by O.M. dated

deputation will be posted in ESIC, Hqrs, New Delhi/anywhere in India respectively.
