Online Hold Functionality

• Travelers or Delegates (travel arrangers) can put airline reservations on hold with Orbitz for Business (OFB)

– OFB clearly displays the exact time limit for the hold expiration

– Hotel and car reservations cannot be placed on a “hold” status and are confirmed at the time of booking

• Airlines that are ticketless or restrict holding of reservations and do not allow Online Hold;

– Air Tran/Southwest

– Frontier

– jetBlue

– Spirit

– Virgin America

Online Book/Ticket Choices

• During the booking path, the USF online user will see two ‘Ticketing Options’ for most carriers, except the Ticketless carriers listed on the previous slide

– Book/Ticket now

– Hold/Auto Cancel – noting exact date/time when the ticket will Auto Cancel

• A credit card is required for either transaction

Held Booking – Ticket Now

• Ticket Now - ability to request ticketing prior to hold limit expiration

• Real time, website interaction with user on:

– Pricing errors

– Fare rule changes

– Fare increases/decreases

– Schedule changes

• Positive acknowledgement

• Ability to authorize ticketing and “Ticket Now” from the Home Page.
