•Teams are established to solve some problem or to accomplish some task -the basis of the team's mission and Charter.

• Guidelines for team behavior and decision-making are essential

• Each team member has a role and responsibility to play. These should be clearly documented and understood.

• Meetings are not an interruption of work, they are the team's work.

• Teams should take time out for periodic assessment towards their goals.

There is no I in teams!
