AGRO OBJECTS:-

(i) The principal object of the society will be to promote theinterests of all its members to attain their social and economicbetterment through self-help and mutual aid in accordance with thecooperative principles.(ii) To identify location specific needs of farming community forfarming system based agricultural development.(iii) To set-up priorities for sustainable agricultural developmentwith a Farming System approach.(iv) To draw plans for production based system activities to beundertaken by farmers/ ultimate users.(v) To execute plans through line departments, training institution,NGOs, Farmers Organizations and allied institutions.(vi) To coordinate efforts being made by various line departments,NGOs, farmers Organization and allied institutions to strengthenresearch-extension-farmers linkages in the district, to promotecollaboration and coordination between various State funded technicaldepartments.(vii) To facilitate the empowerment of farmers/ producers throughassistance for mobilization organization into associations,cooperative etc., for their increased participation in planningmarketing, technology dissemination, agro-processing etc.(viii) Take steps to ensure problems; constraints and needs of thefarming system based agriculture development are identified anddiagnosed periodically and do agricultural activities.(ix) To make arrangements for supply of agricultural implements,manure, seeds, storage and marketing of agriculture produce of membersof the society and run flour mills and fodder cutters.(x) To help, formulate and implement a plan of agricultural productionof the village and to arrange the demonstration of improvedagricultural techniques and manage supply of agricultural productionand such other articles of domestic use as may be required by membersof the society.(xi) To undertake manufacture of agricultural machinery andimplements, processing, packing, etc. and other production requisitesand consumer articles by setting up manufacturing units eitherdirectly or in collaboration or as a joint venture with any otheragency, including import and distribution of spare-parts andcomponents to up-keep of the machinery/implements;(xii) To facilitate coordinate, promote and engage in animalhusbandry, fisheries, horticulture, sericulture and cattle rearing.(xiii) Facilitate the processing and marketing activities of theagricultural, livestock, dairy, poultry, silk and allied produce ofthe farmers with the help of private sector institutions.

HOUSING SOCIETY OBJECTS:-

(i) The principal object of the society will be to promote theinterests of all its members to attain their social and economicbetterment through self-help and mutual aid in accordance with thecooperative principles.(ii) To acquire either through outright purchase or on lease, land fordevelopment and construction for residential house/flats for giving toits members either on lease or rent.(iii) To lease out residential house to the members on such terms andconditions as may be fixed by the Government and the society.(iv) To undertake repair of houses of the members when necessary.(v) To arrange for providing to its members of necessary commonamenities and facilities as may be found practicable by the localbodies, authority or Corporation.(vi) To arrange for the maintenance of the estate of the societyincluding roads, lances and park etc.

In all the multi state cooperative societies whether it is agro,housing, fishery, dairy, solar, hospital, consumer, labour,construction, sugar, transport etc., the sources of funds would be asfollows:-

(i) Admission fee;(ii) Share capital;(iii) Loans;(iv) Grants-in-aid;(v) Donations;(vi) Contributions;(vii) Subscriptions;(viii) Profit.

and advances as well since collective investment schemes is notimplemented on cooperative society as per the guidelines of SEBI. Soyou can legally collect advances from members and give them estimatedreturns or refunds. Secondly, there is no fees on Authorized sharecapital whether you keep it as 10,20 or 50 Crores. Till that amountyou can collect money in the form of shares. You can give dividend onshares and refund on loans, contributions and advances. You will begiven license for 2 contagious states only. Later on after 6 months,you can apply for amendment to increase more number of states.

It clearly indicates that CIS is not implemented on cooperativesociety which means that legally you can take advances from members inmulti state cooperative society. Multi state cooperative does not comeunder RBI, SEBI or MCA. It is controlled by Ministry of Agriculture,Department of Cooperation.
