Market PlaceThe heart of the town centre with national retailers including Boots, Primark and Top Shop and our popular street market every Thursday and Saturday. It’s great for events and specialist markets. Cattle Market has the local cinema in a classic Art Deco building.
Carillon Court Shopping CentreA lively centre with national retailers including WH Smith, Pandora, Body Shop and New Look, boutique shops and Tylers, an independent department store. It has easy access from Market Place, Market Street and Swan Street and multi-storey car parking with lifts.
Market Street AreaMarket Street has great independent shops and cafés. Granby Street has Queen’s Park, the Library and Charnwood Museum as well as shops and services.
Wards End AreaWards End and Bedford Square have wonderful independent boutique shops, bars and restaurants. Devonshire Square is just a short stroll from Queen’s Park, with independent and national retailers.
Ashby Road/Ashby Square AreaThe main route from the University to the town centre, these streets have a great selection of independent shops, salons, pubs, restaurants and takeaways.
Regent Place Shopping CentreLoughborough’s retail warehouse complex houses national retailers, including Carphone Warehouse, Currys/PC World and SCS and is just a short stroll from the main town centre.
Church Gate AreaChurch Gate is a quaint pedestrianised street with independent retailers, restaurants and cafés. Church Gate Mews and Warners Lane branch off through pleasant courtyards with high end boutique stores, salons and cafés. Biggin Street connects to the Rushes Centre and has great independent retailers, bars and cafés.
High Street/Baxter Gate Area The main bus stops are concentrated in this area which also has a range of bars, clubs, restaurants and takeaways as well as independent retailers.
The Rushes/Swan Street AreaAn attractive area with independent retailers, restaurants, takeaways, bars and the canal wharf. Derby Square has small independents, salons and takeaways. More businesses are to be found on Derby Road and Bridge Street.
The Rushes Shopping CentreThis modern centre has national retailers including Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Cargo, Next, Argos, TK Maxx and leisure facilities in a pedestrianised mall. There is ample parking with a travelator and lifts.
Leicester Road AreaThis main route into the town centre from the south has a range of specialist independent retailers and services as well as bars and restaurants. More shops, restaurants and services are found on Wood Gate and Pinfold Gate.
