3. Download the MYOB and Asset Manager Pro software by following the relevant instructions.
4. Icon shortcuts should be created on your computer desktop. 5. On your computer desktop, right-click to create a new folder. Name this folder: Start-up Files.

6. Return to the Computer Accounting Interface and click on start-up files You will see a list of chapters

7. Click once on the yellow icon
8. You will see the folder containing the start up files.

9. Right click to copy folder.
10. Go to the start-up files folder you created in step 5 and paste the folder there. 11. Repeat steps 6 to 10 for the rest of the chapters. 12. Once all chapter folders have been saved into the start-up folders on your desktop, launch the MYOB software.

13. You will see the following interface. Click open.
14. On the following screen, select the location where you saved your start-up files (this should be the desktop). Click on Start-up files and press open.

15. Select the chapter you want to work on. Double-click to open the chapter.

16. Select the file and then click open.

17. You will see the following screen asking for a password. If you are the ONLY user, there may not be a need to set up a password. Click OK to carry on. (However, if you do not want any data you create or save to be used by others, then you should create a password.)

18. Access for the first time will show up the following screens. Click Yes
Click OK

Click OK
You will now be able to use the software.
You should always launch the MYOB software FIRST. Do not open the start-up files directly as that will not work.
