Phoenix is named one of “Asia’s 500 Most Influential Brands”, nine years in a row in Hong Kong on September 24, 2014. Among the 56 media brands on this list, Phoenix is one of the Big Four alongside CCTV, NHK from Japan and TVB from Hong Kong. Phoenix has made notable progress by rising 7 spots this year.
The weighty brand list comprises 500 brands from 19 countries and regions.
China, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau, has 206 brands out of the 500, overtaking Japan again.
The selection is jointly organised by the magazine “World Entrepreneur” and World Brand Laboratory led by Nobel Laureate Robert Mundell, also known as “the Father of the Euro”. Brand influence in Asia is measured by key indicators such as market share, brand loyalty and Asian leadership etc.

Phoenix scored “The Most Respectable Companies in China 2013-14” again, being the only TV media corporation to have garnered this accolade every year since the selection was first launched in 2001. The theme of this year’s criteria is “Pioneers in the Time of Change”. Phoenix TV stayed on top of the “Ten Most Influential Weibo in Hong Kong” two years in a row, with over 7 million fans and over 37,000 tweeting messages.
The result was announced on March 17, 2015 by Sina, Weibo.com. It was judged on comprehensive activeness, degree of broadcasting and coverage of various media on weibo.
Over 7 million registered fans followed Phoenix TV since the official launch on Sina platform and they actively retweet, comment, and check out our updated info throughout the day. The edge of Phoenix is news and features that capture public attention and win audience’s support.

Phoenix listed on“The World’s 500 Largest Media Companies”
Phoenix again made the list of “The World’s 500 Largest Media Companies”, climbing 28 places from last year, as announced in New York on 29 December, 2014.
Out of the 500 media companies, a total of 67enterprises from mainland China and Hong Kong were chosen. That made China, overtaking Japan, the country with the most awarded companies in Asia and second to the US in the world.

The award has entered its second year. From a total of 3,000 companies worldwide, 500 were selected based on their earnings during the financial year between 2013 and 2014. Business of the companies on the list covered broadcasting, films, publications, satellite services and other forms of mass media. Out of the top ten on the overall list, seven were from the US.
