Chairman of the working group European Regulations at the UEG,

which represents the corresponding Mirror Committee for the

interests SME’s (SBS).

Expert in the German mirror committee for CEN TC 53 for the

Federal Association for Scaffolding Trade and in CEN TC 53 as

well as CEN TC 53 Working Groups 4, 13 and 14.

As engineering consultant responsible for technical advice to the

members of the German Federal Guild for Scaffolding .

Dual education means that it is carried out both in

enterprises and vocational training schools

The German Chambers are substantially involved in the

system of vocational training

Essential parts are regulated in the vocational training act

(Berufsbildungsgesetz)

Duration 3 years (for example successful completed

initial training or high school graduation)

vocational school lessons: 39 weeks

training in the company: 77 weeks

inter company training: 25 weeks

• From 1870 to 1967 the coal mine Adolf von Hansemann was

located in this place in Dortmund-Mengede

• 48,000,000 tons of coal were mined in nearly 100 years

In the mid-1990s, the Chamber of

Crafts Dortmund decided to buy the

area to establish a training center for

scaffolding.
