Standard Set-up Upgrade to MultiMatch for Enterprise & Unlimited editions of Salesforce.com

To use the MultiMatch version of Match My Email, a Salesforce.com System Administrator will

install a managed package from the Salesforce AppExchange and customize page layouts.

Click HERE for details on how Standard and MultiMatch versions of Match My Email differ.

1. Install MatchMyEmail Application Package in Salesforce.com

Installing the package grants functionality for the MultiMatch version of Match My Email (MME).

1.1. Log in to Salesforce Account

1.2. Click the following link or paste it into browser window:

https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04tU0000000MZlN

The latest version of Match My Email’s managed package can always be found at

http://www.matchmyemail.com/setup-salesforce-automated-email-integration/ .

1.3. Choose Install for All Users and click Install.

2. Edit Page Layout Assignment for Match My Email Objects

Enterprise/Unlimited/Non-Profit editions of Salesforce should change default layout for installed custom

object, Email Message and Email Message Related Object.

2.1. Go to Setup > App Setup > Create > Objects and click the label Email Message in list.

2.2. Hover over or click “Page Layouts” link at top or scroll down to that section, click “Page Layout Assignment” button.

2.3. Click "Edit Assignment”

2.4. Select all profiles by click the top profile, hold the SHIFT key down, and click the last profile. With all selected, click the drop down for Page Layout to Use and select Email Message Layout (UE/EE).

2.5. Click Save

2.6. Repeat steps 2.1 – 2.5 for "Email Message Related Object”.

3. Customize Page Layout with MME Component

These steps place a visualforce component on object page layouts.

3.1. On left sidebar, in App Setup section (may be called Build section), click Customize > Leads > Page Layouts.

Click Edit for the page layout used for Leads in your organization. You may see only

one listed, or many. For each of the page layouts used by your organization, you will

need to Edit and perform the following steps.

3.2. Use the scrollbar to scroll until Visualforce Pages is visible. Click that option.

3.3. Click and drag Section down onto page below, positioning it where desired above Mobile Cards. The dark green line will guide placement.

3.4. Once placed, a pop up window for will appear. For Section Name type in "Email Messages". Leave Detail page checked. Uncheck the box for Edit Page. Click the button for 1-Column. Click OK.

You will now see a section Email Messages (Header not visible) on the page.

3.5. Click on MME Email Messages and drag down into the newly added section. A blue box will appear. Click the wrench tool in the top right corner of the blue box (not the wrench tool for section).

3.6. In the Properties window, change Height to 400, check box for Show scrollbars and click OK.

3.7. Click Save to save changes to the page layout you are editing.

3.8. Repeat steps 3.1 thru 3.7 for all page layouts on that are used for each record type, and for all standard record types (Contacts, Accounts, Opportunities and/or Cases) used by your company.

4. Sync Salesforce Integration

Synchronizing Salesforce Integration allows MME to recognize the package is installed and begin processing

emails using the MultiMatch algorithm and logging emails in custom object Email Messages instead of Activity

History.

4.1. In the MME Menu Ribbon, hover to Settings > Salesforce Integration.

4.2. Check the top box on left to select all instances of Salesforce Integration and click the Sync button.

4.3. It may take up to a minute for system to fully load and sync. Match My Email will now begin operating under the MultiMatch algorithm for all Users.
