Construction & Rating Process
1. Plan Review:Rater follows standard HERS rating process with additional checklists and requirements
2. Field Rating:ENERGY STAR and Challenge Home can happen concurrently
3. Final Rating:Rater confirms mandatory reqts. and Target Home HERS Index; then enters Builder Partner ID (found on builder profile) into HERS rating software (capability being developed)
4. Reporting:Currently: Rater submits home certification to DOEFuture: Rater submits record per RESNET process with all DOE Challenge Home Certifications entered into the RESNET National Building Registry
