and connects to coastal resources Implemented as condition of approval with Linden Casitas Project

Reconstruct Hwy 101 overcrossing & ramps at Linden Ave & Casitas Pass Rd
Reconstruct Hwy 101 bridges over Carpinteria Creek
Extend Via Real frontage road to close two gaps and improve local circulation
Multi-modal improvements for bikes and pedestrians at each overcrossing and Via Real
Hwy Improvements for future Hwy 101 widening
Community Outreach Strategy
Construction brochure mailed out to nearly 8,100 households / businesses in Carpinteria area
Several community meetings with residents, business groups and other stakeholders
On going meetings with City of Carpinteria staff, Caltrans
