Introduction

On November 22, 1991 murder of a taxi driver recorded in the northern sector of the capital. From that date until January 14, 1992, a series of mysterious murders were repeated in Quito.

Taxi drivers were really scared. The same happened with the truckers and homosexuals, who also began to disappear on the same dates. A police investigation allowed to determine those responsible for the killings were young gang led by Juan Fernando Suarez Hermosa.

Body

Before his 16th birthday, Juan Fernando Hermosa killed 22 people, becoming the youngest serial murderer in the history of Ecuador. All the crimes occurred in the span of four months, where he shot and killed eight taxi drivers, 10 homosexual, a driver of truck and his assistant, and two more others, so that the teenager was dubbed the 'Niño del Terror '.

Hermosa was adopted by Olivo Beautiful Fonseca and Zoila Amada Suarez, who took him to the city of Clemente Baquerizo, in the province of Los Rios, where he was born on February 28, 1976, to his house in a crowded neighborhood in northern Quito .

On November 22, 1991, Hermosa and her 4 friends left a discotheque near the bridge Guambra, arriving at the avenue August 10 will mark San Remo stopped a cab; in the way the 'Niño del Terror' drew a pistol and shot the driver in the head, died instantly. With this weapon he allegedly committed the crimes and later determined that got through an agent.

Conclusion

Hermosa fled to Colombia, where he contracted tonsillitis and was finally recaptured; but in 1996 he was released because he served the sentence and went to live with his father in Nueva Loja, in Sucumbíos.

On February 28, 1996, the day he would meet 20 years, Hermosa body was found on the banks of the Aguarico River. Police revealed that apparently would have killed five hooded.

His body showed signs of torture, the face was smashed by machete cuts and bullet holes in the face. He was identified by the documents in his wallet
