Data Processing

The data processing module periodically stores logs to hard disk in individual files:

• current levels of radiation

• maximal levels of radiation during observation and the time of their appearance

• exceedance of the threshold values: - time of its appearance - threshold exceedance duration - corresponding dose during the threshold exceedance in any channel

• integral values of radiation levels

• mean values of radiation levels during the shift

• beam shutters status log

Conclusion

A new dosimetric control hardware and software complex for the IBR-2 reactor was put into operation in the winter of 2010.

In the summer of 2011 the complex was successfully tested during the trial start-up of the modernized reactor.
