2.) DEFINITION- the combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that pelases the aesthetic sense, especially the sight- the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit
4.) VISUAL INVESTIGATION- Why the emphasis on pleasure?- How can beauty be both subjective (projected on to person or thing by beholder) and also inherent (possessed intrinsically by person or thing)?
