It's not a professionally landscaped gar- den, but rather a casual, happy, friendly place, to work, to play, to share, and, hope- fully enjoy with you. Start your stroll at the roadside. You'll first see a 3 metre boulevard of conifers, decidu- ous and flowering trees, bushes, ground cov- er and spring bulbs. Amble across the lawn and look for magnolias, purple sand cherry, apple trees, hydrangeas, yuccas, eurony- mous, roses, echinacea, rudbeckia, vibur- num, grasses, colourful annuals and more. Wander along the garden path at the front of the house, turn the corner and be- hold the sparkling "Bay of Quinte". What a background for more gardens, with mature walnut trees, rhododendrons, dogwood, a vine covered porch, a gazebo, a poed plant pao, and a boat house. One of the unique fea- tures of the landscaping is the use of over 20 variees of deciduous trees, providing out- standing spring flowers and fall colour. Gar- dens of coniferous shrubs, flowering bushes, specimen trees frame the house. Outlying rock gardens infused with over 90 variees of hostas provide a pleasing blend of green, yellow and white foliage. The owners main- tain the gardens primarily by themselves; it is always a work in progress! On display will be four vintage cars, 64 Jaguar E Type, 1966 MGB, 1970 Mustang Mach 1 and a 1956 Thunderbird. The owner, is an avid vintage car enthusiast.
