1 Corinthians 14:26–40 (NKJV) 26 How is it then, brethren? Whenever you
come together, … Let all things be done for edification….. 33 For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints…40 Let all things be done decently and in order.
Noise During ServicesThose Who Cannot Hear• Literally, some cannot
hear or concentrate• Bottom line: Difficulty
worshipping
Those With Children• Want children to learn to
be quiet• Doesn’t want to always be
getting up/down… disrupting others
God is not the author of confusion but of peace.
Our Worship• Applying the “great commandment”
– I must realize our worship is not about me but about magnifying our God.
– I must also be considerate regarding the well-being of others.
• When both sides of a matter come together a peaceful conclusion – with minor inconvenience – can be reached.
God is not the author of confusion but of peace.
Peaceful ConclusionThose Who Cannot Hear• Continue with patience
and understanding• Those who can: consider
helping families with children
Those With Children• Consider those who
cannot worship.• Take children to another
part of the building
God is not the author of confusion but of peace.
