CSR Project of UPL Limited was recognised at GLOBAL CSR EXCELLENCE &

LEADERSHIP AWARDS 2017 which was held on 18th February, 2017 at Taj Lands End,

Mumbai. The award was presented by His Excellency- The Ambassador of Canada. The

award was presented to recognise UPL’s efforts towards Poverty Alleviation.

10. India CSR Leadership Summit & Awards 2017

India Today showcased UPL’s CSR efforts on its

premier show of “INDIA INDEED”. India Indeed –

the power of giving back showcases the CSR work

of those impactful organisations who realise the

importance of being socially responsible and

embrace the idea of Corporate Social

Responsibility. The program showcases exceptional

companies committed to giving back to the society

and community as a whole. Based on the research

undertaken on top 200 organisations and vetted by

the India Today Board and industry experts, 15 big

corporate houses were selected (1 corporate house

in each episode).

The 21 minute maiden episode on UPL showcased

our various CSR interventions in the field of

agriculture, education, employability, sanitation, et

al.

S. R. Shroff Aajivika Trust features in Gujarat CSR Outlook Report 2017 released by

NGOBOX. According to the report there are top Six CSR Foundations in Gujarat that are

driving Impacts through Corporate Social Responsibility projects. The report has a case

study on UPL Vasudha Program mentioning the efforts and results under the Sarus

Conservation Program
