How we worked with Seva Chakkara• First visit in Dec ‘99 by an Asha volunteer.

• Feb ‘01 approved support for teacher’s salaries.

• May ‘02: Started innovative fund-raiser - Support-A-Child which raises $20,000/year towards basic living expenses, health-care and education.

Working with the project we realized that the basic requirements of food, shelter and health-care needed to be met before education.
