Opening match:Poland- Brazil 18.08.2010

12 000 fans witnessed how new quality arose in in Polish market of mass events. Great emotions came in Gdańsk and Sopot and are here to stay. Both teams created an emotional meeting. The atmosphere was further heated by fantastic sports fans and additional attractions. A dream beginning for ERGO ARENA!

Show must go onWith time new emotions came. ERGO ARENA was visited by basketball virtuosos- Harlem Globetrotters. For the youngest the arena became a world of fun, while the adults could admire the impressive show. It was just a beginning! A major break though was a derby between Trefl Sopot and Asseco Prokom Gdynia, which went down in history as the most attended sports event. More than 10 000 fans during the basketball match – this has never happened before in the whole Polish League!
