• Classroom designs have changed dramatically from a silent classroom with desks in rows, to a classroom which is rich of vocabulary and co-operative learning with various arrangements of desks and learning spaces.

• High levels of visual stimuli can seem overwhelming to students

• Low levels of visual stimuli may seem less engaging to students

• Student opinion must be taken into consideration when setting up a classroom
