What'sHappening?

As new publisher of the Cal-endar, I don't feel too newsince I've been working onthis publication almost sinceit's birth over 2 years ago. There are no drastic changesplanned, however if there areany suggestions please call264-5502 or write: P.0.3ox1442, Vilw. WI 54201.

Summer fun includes variousactivities around & about. The Business Association of:alwau.kee is sponsoring apicnic for the G.P.U. build-ing fund on Aug. 19. Soundslike a lot of fun & festivi-ties for Check the ad inthis issue for details.See what's happening at the& M. They have several new

shows in the works--The Rock-ford Follies, Sat■, July 21;Cynamin Jones on Thurs., July26, and on :Ion., Aug. 6 theUmpires 41.69 ?agent. Andthere's always Gerry & Jan onSundays & Wednesdays. I stop-ped in to enjoy their musicthe other night, and they arereally pleasurable entertain-ment■The Club Baths had their 5th

Anniversary Party Sunday.Con-gratulations to Paul, 'aka &all those at the Club. It wasa wild tire for all who at-tended--the champagne was

flowing and so were sale ofthe patrons, lead by Paul, mgr. of the Club. (For sure, this is not a first hand re-port, but my source is reli-able.):MacArthur Park had a niceGrand Opening last Tuesdaythe 10th. It's a large andnicely decorated place, plentyof room for dancing and con-versation, and the bartendersare friendly. It's worth itto stop in just . to see theplace.Roger, Woody, Bab & Ray pro-

vide enjoyable entertainmentat the Beer Garden on Sundaynights. If you go there tohere them (which I recommend)ask them to play "Summertime"--it's a great rendition bysome very talented people.

Check out Casablanca's backbar, it's comfortable and agreat place for conversationwith friends.

Hey all you Leo's--thePhoenix is having a party foryou on Tuesday, July 24th■Bring an I.D. and they'll giveyou a bottle of champagne. Nota bad deal for all you courag-eous extroverts. And don't forget the "Christ-

mas in July" celebration atthe Ball Game. This annualevent has proven to be a funtime for everyone.

Thevictory by H & M left them with a one game lead overDawn's Chickletts in the battle for Ailwaukee's entry asthe Series HI representative.

Dawn's Chickletts defeated the Factory 31-14 in a battlefor sole possession of second place. Finale used 2 big in- 'nings in routing the Wreck Room 29-13.
