LNG Valve's Design

Most of the LNG valves are Cryogenic Valves, which should meet many

y g yspecial requirements:

1. The valve and the assembly should have a long working life under the cryogenic medium and ambient temperature. The longest working life reaches 30 years .

2. The abnormal pressure rise of gasfied medium in the valve cavity may cause the risk. Our special pressure bleeding structure make sure the bleeding way of the valve meet the requirements of LNG process. So our valves are safe and dependable.

3. The extended bonnet can avoid the bad effect of the cryogenic di th li f f ki t k th / lmedium on the sealing performance of packing to make sure the open/close

operation of cryogenic valve.4. The Garlock low emission packings and the special desined double-

6. All the choosed austenitic stainless steel (Duplex Steel) meet the

( p )requirements of ASME standard and the cryogenic temperature impacttest standard after cryogenic treatment to make sure minimum distortionand enough strength of the material in cryogenic temeprature.

7. The valve should have suitable rigidity to avoid the bad distortionand make the good sealing performance. Flexible structure are adoptedon some parts to compensate the distortion under cyogenic tempeture.

8. The steamline shaped body ,without sharp corner and groove, canavoids the damage of the stress concentration under the cryogenictemperature.

Until now, a series of high accurate, digital and intelligentcryogenic test equipments which the largest in domestic.are built in the factory.

The cryogenic treatment and cryogenic test are the important parts of thecryogenic valve prduction process. The qualified cryogenic test equipment isthe key poit to do the tests. For this series of testing equipments, many factorsare considered, such as rationality of operation flow, accuracy of meterage,safty of working place and the comsuption and reusing of cryogenic fluid & testfluidfluid.

The measuring datas of this test equipments include cryogenic fludtemeprature, ambient temperature, body temperature, bonnet temperature,stem temperature, packing temperature, sealing parts temeprature, mediumpressure, leakage rate,etc.The test are real-time monitored and the test result are companied with testdata curve & test report.
