WORSHIP IN SPIRIT & TRUTH

LET THE LITTLE CHILDREN COME TO ME

Little children may be brought to Christ the Lord, They may be included in the Kingdom of God.

Jesus rebuked His Disciples for trying to stop them, To the Lord Jesus Christ, they were precious gems!

They may learn how to love Jesus as Saviour and Lord;

Jesus would happily receive them into the Kingdom of God. How wonderful is the heart of Jesus the King;

He opens His arms and welcomes them in.

The heart of Jesus is pure and merciful indeed; He would reach out to everyone who is in need.

Whether they were children or much older; All must know He would not show a cold shoulder.

The heart of Jesus is humble and meek; Many came to Him when they were sick. He showed to all great love and mercy;

All who were helped, praised Him greatly.

POETRY CORNER (CHILDREN)

(FOR COMMUNION SERVICE)

DO YOU LOVE ME?

Jesus loved His Disciples dearly even when they failed;

His love for them caused Him to reach out and prevail. He singled Peter out and asked him most directly;

“Do you love Me?” This had to be answered personally.

Peter did not dare to loudly declare his love as he once did;

He had to eat his words for he had denied his Lord indeed!

But deep down in his heart he knew he loved his Master;

“Yes, Lord, You know I love you,” was all he could muster.

Two more times Jesus raised this question, “Do you love Me?”

Peter would not use words that he was afraid would be empty. He would trust that the Lord knew what was deep in his heart;

The lesson learned from having denied Jesus would never depart!

“Do you love Me?” How would we answer the Lord today?

Would we be able to declare our love without fear and dismay? The Lord bids us to search our heart and speak of love for Him;

May we be able to answer bravely that our love would never dim!
