Kroger’s core business comprises 19 grocery divisions and five convenience store chains. It also maintains fine jewelry store operations and manufacturing facilities that mainly supply the retailer’s private label products. Pending regulatory approval, Harris Teeter, which Kroger is in the process of acquiring, will become the retailer’s 20th grocery division.
