WHEN ONLY THE BEST WILL DOWHEN RISING TIDE OPENED IN 1976, IT SET THE TREND FOR HEALTHY EATING ON LONG ISLAND. TODAY, WE PROVIDE OUR CUSTOMERS WITH:-100% ORGANIC PRODUCE-CAREFULLY SOURCED MEATS AND SEAFOOD-NON-GMO / ORGANIC GROCERIES-WELLNESS DEPARTMENT WITH HIGHLY EXPERIENCED STAFF-FULL-SERVICE DELI, FEATURING JUICE & SMOOTHIE BAR AND DAILY HOT LUNCH PROGRAM (VEGAN / GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS AVAILABLE) COMING SOON...A NEW RISING TIDEWITH SO MUCH TO OFFER, WE ARE BURSTING AT THE SEAMS! IN THE WORKS IS A MOVE TO A NEW LOCATION ACROSS THE STREET THAT'S MORE THAN THREE TIMES THE SIZE OF OUR CURRENT STORE (WITH AMPLE PARKING!). CHARITY BEGINS AT HOMEIN 2017, WE LAUNCHED OUR CHARITY OF THE MONTH PROGRAM, DESIGNED TO SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATIONS LIKE THE GLEN COVE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB, COVE ANIMAL RESCUE, FINLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOD PANTRY, NORTH SHORE SHELTERING PROGRAM, AND NORTH SHORE SOUP KITCHEN THAT DO SO MUCH TO SERVE OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED. THIS PROGRAM IS UNIQUE BECAUSE IT FUNCTIONS IN CONJUNCTION WITH OUR CUSTOMERS (WE CHARGE $.10 FOR EVERY PURCHASE AND DONATE IT TO THE CHARITY), AND RAISES AWARENESS ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF SINGLE-USE GROCERY BAGS. SINCE THE PROGRAM STARTED, WE HAVE DONATED MORE THAN $12,000 TO LOCAL CHARITIES, AND HAVE SEEN A DEFINITIVE SHIFT IN CUSTOMERS’ USE OF REUSABLE BAGS. LIVING WATER FOR WOMEN

Living Water’s mission is to help women transitioning from situations such as drug and alcohol dependence, to overcome their weaknesses and nurture their strengths so that they may become vital members of the community.

Living Water for Women could not function without many forms of community support. While we receive some support from the Department of Social Services, the meager ammount they pay covers only cover about 30% of the total operating expenses of Living Water. Generous contributions of time, products, services, and money allow us to offer the comprehensive and effective programming that sets Living Water apart from other women’s restorative programs. DONATEWe are a 501c3 and all contributions are fully tax deductible. We are constantly looking for more partners in the community - individuals, companies, churches, clubs, etc. - to help us further our mission of helping our women move into mainstream employment towards self- sufficiency. Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club mission is to provide a safe and caring environment that will inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive and responsible citizens. The Club’s nationally corroborated programs and services are designed to encourage

youth to explore and discover the world around them in a fun, positive and nurturing environment. The Club’s five core program areas revolving around education and career development, the arts, health & lifeskills, character & citizenship and sports & recreation

enhances the overall learning experience while building self-esteem and helping youth develop leadership abilities and adopt healthy lifestyles.
