It manages age-related cataracts. It treats diabetic retinopathy and other ocular complications

of diabetes. It treats vitreous floaters.

    How does Clarastill work

N-Acetylcarnosine (NAC) is a prodrug of Carnosine. both compounds reside naturally in the body. Appreciable levels of Carnosine have been found in transparent human lens. (25

M cf. 5 M in advanced Cataritic lens).

It acts as a potent antioxidant & inhibitor of Glycation, restoring damagedproteins.

Unlike Carnosine, NAC is:1) Lipid soluble: allowing passage through lipid rich corneal layer.

    2) Resistant to (Carnosinase) enzyme hydrolysis

    Bioavailability of drug.

NAC is also water soluble. Once through the Cornea, NAC gradually releasesCarnosine (dose dependant hydrolysis) in the aqueous humour.

Appreciable levels of Carnosine were detected in the aqueous humour after only15 to 30 minutes (cf. none when using L carnosine). After delivery, Carnosine is flushed through Canal of Schlemm Bloodstream

broken down by Carnosinase & Excreted.
