Tipping TipsPlanning, Organization and Executing a Wedding is an amazing coordination of efforts by all people involved;
the bride and groom, the parents and all of the vendors. Although many services require or suggest a tip percentor amount, many leave it up to your discretion. If you are happy with the service you’ve been receiving, here aresome guidelines for gratuities!
u As a general rule, if you hired a specific person from a company, then tip them. If you hired theactual proprietor, then don’t feel obligated.
u Delivery and Security people $5 -$10 each.
u Hair and Make-up Services - 15 - 20% of the bill.
u Chauffeurs - 15 - 20% of the total bill.
u Valets - .50 per guest.
u Attendants - .50 per guest.
u Photo and Video - 10% of the total bill to split with their crew.
u DJ/Musicians - $20 - $25 each.
u Bartenders - $20 - $40 each.
u Wait Staff - $20 each (maitre d' distributes)
u Maitre d’/Banquet Manager -$2 -$3 per guest in addition to the service charge.
Before your wedding, calculate the amount you will tip, place it in envelopes and let a trusted friend ormember of the bridal party distribute them discreetly.

Directions Traveling West on Route 22Pass McDonalds on the right. Take exit for Route 78/Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Berkeley Heights, New Providence exit. (BonnieBurns Road which later turns into Plainfield Avenue). At the fifth traffic light, take a left onto Springfield Avenue. The BerkeleyPlaza is 1/2 mile down the road on the right.
Directions Traveling East on Route 22Pass Sears/Terril Road on the right. Take exit for Route 78/Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Berkeley Heights, New Providence. Thentake immediate right for Route 78/Berkeley Heights, New Providence. Go over overpass and take a left at the light. (BonnieBurns Road which later turns into Plainfield Avenue). At the fourth traffic light, take a left onto Springfield Avenue. TheBerkeley Plaza is a 1/2 mile down the road on the right.
Directions Coming From NJ Turnpike, Routes 1 & 9, Newark Airport AreaRoute 78 West (Clinton). If in local lane, always bear to the left, to exit 43 (Berkeley Heights and New Providence exit). At exitbear right onto Diamond Hill Road which turns into Union Avenue to end (approximately 2 miles). At stop sign, make a leftonto Springfield Avenue. Go through two traffic lights, The Berkeley Plaza is 1/4 mile on the right.
Directions From George Washington Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel & Points NorthParkway South to Exit 142 to Route 78 West. Then follow directions from NJ Turnpike/Newark Airport.
Directions Coming From MorristownTake South Street to 287 North to Route 24 East. Traveling East on Route 24 approximately 9 miles to Route 78 West. Thenfollow the directions from NJ Turnpike/Newark Airport.
Directions Coming From Basking Ridge & Bernardsville AreaRoute 287 South Exit 30A (North Maple Avenue). Go straight approximately 1 mile. Bear left onto South Maple Avenue andcontinue 2-1/2 miles to blinking light (church on right). Continue straight (slightly left) onto Long Hill Road. Go 1-1/2 milesto stop sign. Turn right on Central Avenue. Go over railroad tracks and you are now on Main Street. Go until traffic light andmake a left onto Valley Road. Straight on Valley Road through four lights (approximately 2-1/2 miles). Berkeley Plaza is on theleft side.
Directions Coming From Shore Points, Woodbridge & New Brunswick AreaTake Garden State Parkway North to Exit 142, (stay to the right before the exit) to Route 78 East one exit (#54). Follow signsto 78 West. Traveling west on 78 to exit 43, Berkeley Heights and New Providence. At exit bear right onto Diamond Hill Roadwhich turns into Union Avenue to end (approximately 2 miles). At stop sign, make a left onto Springfield Avenue. Go throughtwo traffic lights, The Berkeley Plaza is 1/4 mile on the right.
Directions From Pennsylvania, Clinton & Areas WestTake Route 78 East to exit 40. Turn left after exiting and go approximately 1 mile to a four-way stop. (Blinking red light)Continue straight (slightly left) to first light. Turn right onto Valley Road. Go one mile. Berkeley Plaza is on the left side.
