My fellow Warriors, tonight the WHS football team kicks-off their season at Aberdeen Central.

This means September is nearly upon us. The count-down for the best week of the year has officially started.

H o m e c o m i n g is only 16 days away, believe it or not. You may think that is a long way away, but it is never too early to start

planning your outfits. The upcoming three day weekend is the perfect time

to scavenge through the Goodwill and other second hand stores—one man’s junk is another man’s treasure!

Last year was the first year in a long while that WHS had a theme for the week, and that continues this year with “There’s No Place Like HOMEcoming.” Monday is class color day. Go all out and bring some pride to your class—freshmen that means you, too! Twister Tuesday is next—have a little fun and get wacky. Wednesday is twin day—find your best look alike and have some fun! Thursday is animal day—just be unique and have fun. Friday, as always, is Warrior Spirit Day—dress in orange and black from head to toe.

I advise all to participate in the dress up days. If you don’t, I guarantee you will feel foolish. Remember, there is no such thing as too much spirit during homecoming week. Go all out and have a blast! The people that make homecoming the best are those that have fun with it! Junior Sydney Arrington is ready to go wild on animal day.
