Introduction The 0.7mm modular piping system from PMD is made in stainless steel with thickness ranging from 0.5mm to 0.7mm. The piping system is assembled by lock formed seams and spot welding. The components listed in this catalogue, include common parts required for pipe systems for ventilation and dust extraction. PMD can produce non-standard sizes and components according to the customers request. Modular components are assembled by either of the available assembly methods SSR, SWR, SQL or SFL. Assemblies by SQL gives an airtight assembly. Sealing options for SSR, SWR and SFL is available in forms of SE and FS, refer to page 5-6.

Assembly methods The 0.7mm Stainless steel pipe system is assembled by using either of the below assembly methods: SSR – standard ring assembly This assembly method consist of two half circular rings connected around the beading of the pipes with 2 bolts. This assembly system is recommended for pipe sizes Ø80-Ø200. If a very tight assembly is required, then seal ring SE can be mounted on one beading per assembly. SWR – wide ring assembly This assembly method consist of a circular band joined by a single bolt. The ring supports on the beadings as well as on the tube. SWR is suitable for assembly of larger pipe diameters Ø200-Ø700. Seal ring SE will give an airtight assembly. Mount the seal ring on one beading only per assembly. SFL – loose flange assembly Flanges are inserted loosely behind the beadings. The flanges give a strong assembly suitable for large diameter pipes above Ø500. SE seal ring or FS flange gasket can be used with this assembly method to ensure an airtight assembly. SQL – quick lock assembly This assembly method consist of two half circular hinged assembled by a lever lock. The rings are provided with seal to give an airtight assembly. Recommeded for pipe sizes Ø80-Ø400.

Stainless steel telescope pipes - STS are made from 0.5mm stainless steel for diameters up to Ø225 and in 0.7mm for larger diameters. The length of the telescope can be adjusted from 0.5 to 1.0m. JET CAPS - SJC Group 2 – 0.7mm stainless steel pipe system

Jet caps – SJC is made of 0.7mm stainless steel. Jet caps are made with beadings for assembly by SSR, SWR, SQL or with loose flanges (SFL). Jet caps are fitted with internal water tray and drain hose. The outlet of the jet cap is fitted with bird mesh.
