Pleasant Valley Community of Prayer and Praise “People Knowing God’s Call and Living It” June 2, 2016 This past Sunday got off to a rocky start for me. My 9 year old and I walked into the Worship Center about 8 minutes late and quickly crept into a pew, put our bags down, and stared straight ahead. I looked up at the words on the projector, and closed my eyes. "God... I'm not bringing much right now, so show me where you are, and I'll go there." With my eyes shut, I began to see it... A great stone hall.. it looked like a king’s court in a palace, resembling something from The Lord of the Rings. The stones were dark and the ceilings were high, held up by carved stone pillars. I didn't see a throne, though I knew it was there. I saw a table, long and made from stone, with God at one end and me at the other. We were talking and all of a sudden I felt safe. The King of Kings and Creator of the universe, invited me to His table, to intimately dine with him. Yet, He felt like a friend; One who happens to know everything about me. What He showed me about this was that out of this place, this relationship... is where my worship will come, because worship is the overflow of relationship. Friends, no matter where you are or what you're doing, you have that special place with Your King. That special and safe place where relationship grows. What does your sanctuary with your King look like? Let Him show you and I guarantee, it will feel like the most "right" place on earth. Since Sunday, I’ve shared many intimate conversations at that table with Him, and I look forward to a lifetime of more. Emily Erquhart

“People Knowing God’s Call and Living It”

June 2, 2016

This past Sunday got off to a rocky start for me. My 9 year old and I walked into the Worship Center about 8 minutes late and quickly crept into a pew, put our bags down, and stared straight ahead.

I looked up at the words on the projector, and closed my eyes. "God... I'm not bringing much right now, so show me where you are, and I'll go there."

With my eyes shut, I began to see it...
