Your Help is Needed A problem has been brought to the Social Committee regarding the available number of seats at the dances. It seems that many of the tables have “Reserved” signs on then when the people enter the hall. This causes a problem when a couple wants to attend the dance but can only find one or two places available to sit in the hall. The committee realizes that the residents would like to make arrange-ments to attend the dances with their neighbors and would like to have the table reserved ahead of time. The Social Committee would like to try out a system with the hopes that it is fair to all who want to attend the dances. The number of “Reserved Tables” will be limited in order to provide space for those who would like to attend and do not need a whole table reserved. Reservations will only be taken for a full table of nine, and there will be a limit on the tables that can be reserved. Reservations must be made ahead of time with the ticket seller. It is hoped that this procedure would be fair to all who attend the dances. Please feel free to contact the Social Committee with your ideas as to what can be done to make everyone feel welcome at our social events. Thanks for your help in this matter. Your Social Committee

Got a Question? Do you have a question regarding Grand Valley? A system to have your questions answered by the Management Firm of Grand Valley has been worked out by the Management Firm and the Board of Directors. All questions that you may have which pertain to Grand Valley should be placed in the “Suggestion Box” which is located in the hall. The questions will be forwarded to Paul Johnston, who is currently the property manager of Grand Valley. Paul will provide a written response regarding the area of concern to the Board of Directors. The Board will then review the answer and will take the proper steps to ensure that the person who originated the question is informed of the management's reply. This procedure has been set up in order to keep the Board informed of the problem areas, and for the Board to assist the management firm in solving the concerns of the residents. This system will also provide a record of concerns and what actions were taken to correct the situations, and will serve as a reference for future concerns. It is hoped that the residents of Grand Valley will follow this procedure, and that the concerns and/or problems become smaller and even disappear. Thank you for your cooperation and help in this matter. My question is:

Amazing, Simple Home Remedies: Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold the vegetables while you chop. Avoid arguments with the females about lifting the toilet seat by using the sink. For high blood pressure sufferers - simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure on your veins. Remember to use a timer. A mousetrap placed on top of your alarm clock will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives. Then you’ll be afraid to cough. You need only two tools in life - WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn’t move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn’t move and does, use the duct tape. If you can ‘t fix it with a hammer, you’ve got an electrical problem.
