Your Gas UsageThe amount of LPG bottles you need depends on how much gas you use, what you use it for and how many people live in your home.
You can use the table below as a guide.
LPG Rates RefillsThe rate you are charged for your LPG bottle depends on where you live in New Zealand. To order your LPG bottles, fill out the LPG order form online at www.greypowerelectricity.co.nz or by calling us.
Cylinder RentalYour daily rate depends on where you live in New Zealand. Your rates can be found online at www.greypowerelectricity.co.nz or by calling us.
Each gas bottle (cylinder) contains 45kg of gas when full, which equals 2250 megajoules or 625 kilowatts of energy.

Grey Power All Energy Discount
You can take advantage of our Grey Power All Energy Discount by combining your electricity and gas supply with Grey Power Electricity.
One Energy Bill
As an All Energy customer, you will receive one bill for your electricity and gas. We provide simple and transparent billing by clearly separating the charges which make up your bill.
Save Money
You can save money by choosing to use gas in your home. Gas appliances are efficient and are usually cheaper to operate in the long term.
Heat as you go
With an instant gas hot water system, you can heat as you go and only pay for what you use.

Living Safely with GasYour safety around gas is very important. If you suspect your gas appliances are faulty or leaking (even if you are not able to smell gas), turn off your gas supply immediately and contact us on 0800 473 976.

LPG in Your HomeIf you would like some advice on how to get LPG in your home you can call us on 0800 473 976.
Your LPG Account. If you already have LPG, we can get your account up and running.
Setting up Your Account. Call our Customer Service team on 0800 473 976 to set up your account with us.
Check Gas Levels. Your gas bottle will have a regulator on the top. The green indicator means you have gas. The red indicator means the bottle is empty.
Re-ordering LPG Bottles. You can order your LPG bottles by filling out the LPG order form online at www.greypowerelectricity.co.nz or call us on 0800 473 976. Standard delivery time is 2-6 working days.
New Installation. If you do not currently have LPG, you will need to organise for a registered gas fitter to install the system. Once you have done this, we can deliver the bottles to your home.
