ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN LUND 7-9 SEPTEMBER 2014

WELCOME TO LUND Only 30 minutes from Copenhagen´s international airport Kastrup, is this beautiful city of Lund situated. Lund is a charming town that combines ancient with modern. With its cobblestone streets, vibrant intellectual community and relaxed ambience, Lund is an archetypal college town in Sweden’s southernmost county of Skåne. Surrounded by farmland and rolling fields, the town is thick with history, both modern and ancient. Lund is a soulful blend of leafy parks, medieval abodes and coffee-sipping bookworms. Lund is Sweden’s second-oldest town, founded by the Danes around 1000 and once the seat of the largest archbishopric in Europe. Lund’s most prominent building is the 12th-century Romanesque-style Lund Cathedral, or Domkyrkan, with two 55 meter high of towers visible from many points in town. Inside the cathedral is a magnificent astronomical clock, standing over 20 feet tall, with ornate religious characters carved into wood. The clock charts the positions of the Sun and Moon and other celestial bodies.

Ideon Science Park Ideon Science Park is Scandinavia's and one of Europe's most successful meeting places for visionaries, entrepreneurs and for venture capital. This is where many global leaders in the fields of ICT, Life Science and Cleantech have started their journey. At present, Ideon has 120,000 square meters of office space and about 350 companies operate here, employing more than 2,700 people. Ideon Science Park is like a life-giving lung for the whole of the expansive, northeastern area of Lund. With the University, the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Management and Economics in its immediate vicinity, Ideon Science Park is the obvious meeting place. Ericsson, Sony Mobile, Axis Communications, Active Biotech and Gambro all have their development centers right beside the Park.

Ideon Gateway is a completely new building and it’s the tallest building in Lund with its 19 floors. The building stands out from the crowd in more ways than just vertically. Ideon Gateway is a natural meeting place with 13,000 m2 of office space, conference premises, a restaurant, café, bank, etc.

CONFERENCE VENUE Elite Hotel Ideon, Lund

This topmodern hotel is one of Lunds new landmarks, Ideon Gateway, and is

the tallest building in Lund. The hotel is a modern full service hotel offering

178 well designed rooms spread over 14 floors. Elite Hotel Ideon also offers

a contemporary gym with sauna and modern conference facilities furnished

with the latest technology.

Elite Hotel Ideon is located in the Ideon Science Park, which is Sweden’s first science centre that opened in 1983. The building Ideon Gateway does not only host a hotel, it also hosts up to 700 workplaces which provides an exciting and international ambient.

All fees should be paid for in advance in Swedish Kronor according to the invoice and confirmation

that you will receive after registering.

Confirmation

A written confirmation and an invoice will be sent to your e-mail after registering. We will send you a

confirmation of payment when the invoice have been paid for in full. We will only accept payment by

bank transfer, no credit cards will be accepted to pay with.

All fees, except the administration fee of 1250 SEK will be refunded for cancellations made on or

before the 1st of July 2014. A 50% refund of the paid amount will be given for cancellations made

before 13th of July 2014. No refund will be given after this date.
