Thank you so much for your prayers, your visits, your texts. Kim was admitted to Community Hospital Monday evening because her white blood cell count was dangerously low. Which means her immune system is very suppressed. That is why the doctors have everyone coming in to her room wear a mask and gloves. Her count was higher yesterday, Tuesday, even though it still was not in the normal range. The doctors feel she is recovering. This downturn was a side effect of her chemo treatment, which in a way is good, because it means the drug they are using to treat her is working. Except, for the negative side effects. Kim has struggled with eating and sleeping since Friday night last week because of severe pain in her mouth and throat caused by the chemo treatment (and somebody in our bedroom snoring!). But she is rebounding slowly from those. Again, we thank you for being such a caring and loving church family. Most importantly, we thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for her relief and for her strength. Please pray with us for what we know God has already promised He will do and provide: His grace that is always sufficient for our every need (2 Corinthians 12:9-10) His mercies that are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23) His peace which transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7) We are blessed to have you as our church family! F ROM THE P ASTOR :

Kim. Thank you so much for your prayers, your visits, your texts. Kim was

admitted to Community Hospital Monday evening because her white blood cell

count was dangerously low. Which means her immune system is very suppressed. That is why the doctors have everyone coming in to her room

wear a mask and gloves. Her count was higher yesterday, Tuesday, even

though it still was not in the normal range. The doctors feel she is recovering.

This downturn was a side effect of her chemo treatment, which in a way is

good, because it means the drug they are using to treat her is working. Except, for the negative side effects. Kim has struggled with eating and

sleeping since Friday night last week because of severe pain in her mouth

and throat caused by the chemo treatment (and somebody in our bedroom snoring!). But she is rebounding slowly from those.

Again, we thank you for being such a caring and loving church family. Most

importantly, we thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for her

relief and for her strength. Please pray with us for what we know God has already promised He will do and provide:

His grace that is always sufficient for our every need (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

His mercies that are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23)

His peace which transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7)

We are blessed to have you as our church family! Lakan
