In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
For many years, I have been notifying the Muslims of the danger
posedby the usurper Israel which today has intensified its savage
attacksagainst the Palestinian brothers and sisters, and which, in
the south of Lebanon in particular, is continually bombing
Palestinian homes in thehope of crushing the Palestinian struggle.
I ask all the Muslims of theworld and the Muslim governments to
join together to sever the hand of this usurper and its supporters.
I call on all the Muslims of the world toselect as Quds Day the
last Friday in the holy month of Ramadan -which is itself a
determining period and can also be the determiner of the
Palestinian people s fate - and through a ceremony demonstratingthe
solidarity of Muslims world-wide, announce their support for
thelegitimate rights of the Muslim people.I ask God Almighty for
the victory of the Muslims over the infidels.

Announcement of International Quds Day
Jews made up only ten percent of the totalpopulation in
Palestine when the Britishgovernment signed the Balfour
Declaration
of 1917.This declaration was severely opposed byresistance
groups in Palestine as well aspolitical groups in Arab countries,
the Islamicworld, and the international community. But,these
oppositions did not change muchbecause of the veto power that the
superpowers of the world had over internationalresolutions. This is
when the whole peoplewithout a land into a land without a people
started.Following this path, Palestine was divided byan
international resolution in 1947. Themajority of the land was given
to theminority: the Jews. This caused an uprisingand a totally
unbalanced war between Arabcountries and the Jews. The war
instigatedanother resolution in 1948 which resulted in aJewish
government being established over 80percent of Palestinian land.In
1967 the Zionist regime occupied evenmore land after they attacked
the Arabportions of Palestine. They were aidedmilitarily,
politically, and economically beimperialistic nations in this
regard. This iswhen the 242nd resolution of the UnitedNation s
Security Council was written. Thisresolution tried to strengthen
the Zionistregime s right to these new occupied lands.Then, in 1973
the Great War took place.America helped the Zionist regime in
thiswar and thereafter leading up to Camp Davidin 1979. Camp David
secured the Zionistregime from its principle threats
namelyEgypt.This is when the settlements flourished onland that was
occupied by the Zionist regime.In 1982, the Zionist regime, aided
byAmerica, continued their warmongering
pol ic ies and invaded Lebanon. Theydestroyed Palestinian
military factions thatexisted in this country. At the end of this
war
an agreement was signed by the three sides of the war, Lebanon,
Palestine, and Israel. Thisagreement forbid any form of
Palestinianactivity in Lebanon.Therefore, the Zionist regime also
secured itssafety along its border with Lebanon. Afterthis, the
influx of Jews to Israel increaseddramatically. Israel and America
also spentenormous amounts of money to attract Jewsto make this
move. The Madrid Conferenceof 1991 tried to put an end to the
Palestinianresistance. This conference was organized by
America.All of these resolutions and agreementscreated an
atmosphere which presented anycountry who opposed the Zionist
regime splight as a country who is diametricallyopposed to American
policy. This kind of forced the hands of Arab leaders into
signingthe controversial Oslo accords. These accordsbasically made
the Arab countries give theZionist regime various perks in order
toprove their positive intentions to the Zionistregime and to
America.Ariel Sharon destroyed the Oslo Accords byentering the Aqsa
Mosque in September2000. This visi t sparked an int i
fadadestroying any sense of peace cooperation.An international
hatred of Islam and Arabsstemmed from the events of September
11th,2001. Palestine was severely struck by theZionist regime at
this time. AfterwardsAmerica s war against terrorism sparkedmany
conferences around the world aiming at
limiting the power of resistance forces in theregion. This is
how America tried to betterrelations between the Zionist regime
andArab countries.But, these efforts did not have much effect.These
conferences helped the Zionist regime
and America by wasting time and allowingthem to push forward
thei r pol i t ica lstrategies.Ninety years has passed since the
BalfourDeclaration of 1917. In 2007 the Americangovernment held the
Annapolis Conferencewhile many political movements in Arab
andIslamic countries were trying to put an end toAmerica s hold
over the region.An important issue, an issue which has comeup be fo
re a nd a f t e r t he Anna po l i sConference, came up once again
during it.The Zionist regime demanded that Palestineand the Arab
countries confess that it is aJewish nation. The reason behind this
is thatif they confess then the right of Palestiniansreturn would
be negated.America and its allies always try to buy outPalestinian
movements by offering largeamounts of f inancia l a id for
signingde t r i m e n t a l pe a c e a g re e m e n t s . T
hePalestinian groups must wise up and not takethese bribes which
hold them back and holdthe fates of all the Palestinian, Arab,
andMuslim people back.
The Gaza Strip Continues toCrumble under Electricity Crisis.
Gaza Strip, September 9, 2009 Pal Telegraph - In mid-2006
aftersome Palestinians fighters had captured the Israeli soldier
Sahlit,Israeli warplanes destroyed the six transformers of Gaza's
onlypower plant. The plant, completed in 2002, was able during
thattime to produce up to 140 megawatts. Since the destruction,
eight
smaller transformers have been installed, with a
maximumproduction 80 megawatts. The power production was
incrediblyreduced. Following the bombing of the power plant,
Israelincreased its supply of electricity to Gaza. Israel provides
the stripwith only very little amounts of electricity and detracts
the cost of electricity from tax incomes that it gathers on behalf
of the PAElectricity is distributed in Gaza by the Gaza
ElectricityDistribution Company. The Gaza electrical grid is not
that allfixed; it was originally installed by Israel and later
expanded asneeded. For instance, there is no electrical grid that
covers allpower needs of the Gaza Strip; there is a network
connected toGaza's power station in AL-Nuseirat, a network
connected toEgypt and networks connected to the Israeli feeders.
The GazaStrip receives its electricity from three different
parts.The GazaElectricity Distribution Company has no central room
to controland manage the electricity it gets. When it needs to
redistributeelectricity to share power cuts, engineers must go to
manually pulla switch. Due to repeated use, many of these switches
fall indisrepair. Besides. This would endanger the lives of
thoseengineers. Sometimes Gaza residents again switch their
electricityputting the whole system into overload. According to
thecompany, the biggest part of the problem is caused due
totechnical problems and the lack of spare parts and.The majority
of Gazan families have power cuts of at least 6 hoursper day. Some
others have no electricity for longer than that.Power cuts hence
place tremendous pressure on the Gaza's powersystem affecting water
and sewerage infrastructure, disruptinghousehold chores and
healthcare delivery and adding more agonyto the lives of
Gazans.Power failure impacts all aspects of life. With power cuts,
theGaza's water authority CMWU can't pump water and distributewater
nor process sewage. Also because of power cuts, hospitalsare forced
to suspend operations, and children, who constitutesmore than half
of the population, are at the risk of health problemsrelated to
contaminated water and the run-down sanitation.All vital life
sections such as hospitals, schools, even the CMWUhave been
severely affected by power cuts. As a result, they nowdepend on
emergency generators to keep normal services. TheCMWU has been
caught into a dilemma as how to get rid of sewage; It had no other
choice but dump waste water into the sea.This has worsened an
existing dangerous situation; the sea hasbeen turned into a huge
hotbed of waterborne diseases.The limited supply of electricity to
the Gaza Strip is placingever-increasing pressure on the delivery
of basic services inhealth, education, water and sanitation to
Gaza's growingpopulation. The current restrictions on borders ban
imports of spare parts & machinery, and therefore exacerbate an
alreadycollapsing life as the provision of basic necessities is
beingdiminished on daily basis. The situation is disastrous, and
there isa growing concern that it will lead to further decline in
thestandard of living for the residents of the Gaza Strip.Mohammed

regime put on Palestinewhen parts of Jerusalem was handed over to
them is that they must transfer 840 metric squaredtons of Nile
water to the occupied territories each year. This did not come into

Zakzaky spoke for thefirst time since the ongoing planthat has been

residence.Speaking during Ramadan Tafsir at F.I.C theleader
expressed that since the beginning of themonth of Ramadan news of

have been taking place for long asmany devoted servants of God were

is better if they
come and arrest him, or take him to Court forexecution, or shot

years, children who are living withhim and neighbours within his

Ibn Maljum, the Imam said if he dies only the one responsible
should be killednot many people as explained in the holy Quran.He
therefore called on people not to retaliateeven if he is to be
killed, and called on membersto intensify prayers and supplication
adding thateven if they kill him the struggle and Da awahshall
continue to exist by God willing.The Favours of God upon the
revered Sheikhare many as he explained; God made himamong those who
devote to Islam and worshipsince childhood. he noted people with
such signhave been extolled in many hadeeths of theprophet

. He added that he spent 30 years
calling people to the path of God withsteadfastness and this can
be testified by allincluding his enemies.On the rest of Muslims the
leader expresseddanger on how some Muslims are being used byenemies
to fight fellow Muslims. He added thatZionists and enemies of Islam
can do anythingto achieve their aims even if it means killing
allMuslims at once. He called on Muslims notallow themselves to be
drag into such act.Whoever calls for Muslims blood is working
forJews and whoever calls people to the right pathshould sympathise
with them and with those hesees as deviants rather than calling for
theirlives, Sheikh added.Sheikh Zakzaky concluded by giving tidings
of the establishment of Islamic systems even if enemies are
averse.

Mass of Saudi Shiamourners in streets and
Mosques after 15 yearsAfter fifteen years Saudi Shias lamented
theanniversary martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib(pbuh) in
streets, mosques and hussainiyah in theeastern region.According to
Ahl ul Bayt News Agency(ABNA.ir), tens of thousands Saudi
Shiascelebrated the anniversary martyrdom of Imam Ali(pbuh) on
Tuesday night at mosques andHussainiyah.The city of Qatif (Shia
areas) clad in black flagsand banners in the streets and
alleys.Most of the shops in the towns of Al-Ahsa andQatif were
closed on Thursday to mourn themartyrdom of Imam Ali (a.s).It is
for the first time after fifteen years whichSaudi Shias freely
mourning in public areas.Some of Saudi politicians believe that it
isbecause of the pressure of Human Rightsorganizations over Saudi
government toobserve the rights of Shiite Muslims.
Human Rights Watch in its final report said thatSaudi Shiites
suffer deprivation of dignity andsystematic discrimination.In
recent years Saudi extremist banned andclosed tens of Shia mosques,
Husainiyah andreligious schools and arrested hundreds of active
politician Shias.
